 Marvelous Spring
Every spring when I am listening and watching for all the glorious signs, I take out
"Wind in the Willows" to read about mole working very hard with his broom and dusters and a pale of white wash. Then this sentence:
."Spring was moving in the air above and in the earth below and around him,
penetrating even his dark and lowly little house with its spirit of divine discontent and longing."
With a " Bother and Hang spring cleaning", he throws his brush down and bolts out of the house.
It is a powerful force and in upstate New York, we wait very patiently for the sun to warm up the earth and us!
I hope you are watching the robins hopping around the lawn and listening to the raucous red-wing black birds.
