Mrs. McPuppet
Fall Welcome!

Welcome to Fall

I heard a large flock of robins in the woods, eating berries, chattering, and beginning to gather for their trip south, what fun that must be. Change is in the air! The plump striped monarch caterpillars are munching away   on the swamp milkweed up at the pond, looking ever so lovely.

Could not resist bringing one inside, safely housed in a large glass jar so we can watch the magic. It was sleeping during our supper , resting up for the metamorphosis. Yes, it's coming, I hope you are enjoying the early signs of fall!

Introducing Ms. Toucan...

Introducing Ms. Toucan, the newest member of the McPuppet troupe of animal friends extraordinaire.

She comes to us fresh from the studio.... er.. Guatemela

She will be making her onstage debut with Mrs. McPuppet this Fall.

Say "Hi" to Ms. Toucan when you meet her!

Puppet People...

Make one of yourself... make a famous person and talk about his/her life...make 2 characters from a story; put them on each hand and act out part of the story....

1. Print out the puppet pattern and place another sheet of paper underneath and cut out the puppet. You need a back and a front.

2. Draw on a face and a shirt with pencil and color in.

3. Staple around the head... staple along the lower sides, leaving space for fingers to come through for the arms.

4. Use strips of colored paper or strips of fabric for hair. Glue on.

5.PLace your hand inside, letting your thumb and pinkie become the arms and let your other fingers slide up in the head. Have fun!
