Giving Back

Many of Mrs. McPuppet's songs speak of the connectedness of all living things.  As part of this a percentage of every sale from Mrs. Muppet's Shop is donated to a program of education and support for children in poverty in Guatemala.

The program is called Education and Hope and serves hundreds of children with education and staples for living.

Education and Hope is a small, non-profit education foundation based in the western highlands of Guatemala. The project was founded by, and continues to be directed by Julie Coyne.

Education and Hope aims to increase access to education among impoverished children and young adults in this area by providing them with monthly scholarships, as well as by offering reinforcement in the form of tutoring after school.
