Music and Puppetry for Grades 3-5

The performance begins with an introduction to the history of puppetry and then several styles of puppets are used to illustrate songs from Mrs. McPuppet's recordings (which are given to the school).  Audience participation plays a major role, with students taking part in singing, dancing, and performing for their peers.

 The puppets, especially the shadow puppets, can become a starting point for a later classroom activity. The performance, full of life and art, captures students' attention and imagination.
